For many bungalows, roof cleaning can be carried out from ground level using specialist telescopic equipment, provided there is suitable access around the property.

We determine the access requirements before the work begins and explain the proposed method as part of the quotation.

Don't Waste the Moss

Roof cleaning can produce a lot of moss — and it can be genuinely useful around the garden.

Many customers choose to keep it for compost heaps, flower beds, planters, shrubs and surrounding garden areas. Where suitable, we’re happy to place it in a designated area of the property.

If you’d prefer everything removed completely, we can arrange disposal for an additional charge.

3-Year Roof Maintenance Treatment

You don’t necessarily need to wait until the roof becomes heavily covered in moss again.

Around three years after the original clean, we can return and reapply the professional biocide treatment. This helps control new organic growth, refresh the appearance of the roof and extend the time before another full clean is required.

Removed some oil stains as much as was humanly possible as stains have been there over a year only left some slight marks that are barely visible unless you get really close could see them from the road before.Pressure washed treated and sanded driveway. Have had it done before and this looked much better than before. Well priced for the quality of the job. How much does roof cleaning cost?

The cost of roof cleaning depends on the size and type of roof, the amount of moss and organic growth, the access required and the cleaning method used.

As a general guide, roof cleaning for houses typically starts from around £10 per m², while bungalows are usually around £8–£9 per m², subject to access and condition.

Once we have a few photos of the property, we can usually give you a clear idea of the cost before arranging the work.

Do you pressure wash roofs?

Yes. Professional pressure washing is our main roof cleaning method where the roof tiles and condition are suitable. We adjust our equipment and technique according to the roof.

Can you clean more delicate roof surfaces?

Yes. We can use heated water and steam cleaning where a lower-pressure, more controlled approach is more appropriate. Alternatively Roof Scraping is another option where pressure washing just doesn’t suit your particular property.

Do you clear the gutters after roof cleaning?

Yes. Gutter clearing is included as part of our normal roof cleaning process. Moss and debris produced during the clean are cleared without an additional gutter-clearing charge.

Will you wash down the building afterwards?

Yes. Walls, windows, fascias, soffits and surrounding areas affected by the cleaning process are washed down before we leave.

What happens to all the moss?

Many customers keep the moss for composting or garden areas. We can place it somewhere suitable on the property, or arrange complete removal for an additional charge.

How do you access the roof?

For houses we normally use a scaffold tower. Many bungalows can be cleaned from ground level using telescopic equipment where access permits.
